The Woodspring Talking News is based in Weston-super-Mare.
We record items of news and information onto memory sticks which we send out to our visually-impaired listeners across North Somerset every week.
People who are visually-impaired and unable to read a newspaper miss out on what is going on locally. This is where we are able to help.
The news items are taken from local North Somerset papers. The Weston & Somerset Mercury covers Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding areas. The North Somerset Times covers the Clevedon, Nailsea, Pill, Portishead and Yatton areas.
WTN currently supply weekly news editions to around 180 visually-impaired listeners.
